$5 Kitchen makeover

I have been wanting to, lighten up my kitchen for awhile.  I saw a post on my sister's suite case.  She punched paper dots, and stuck them above her fire place.  I knew I couldn't use paper.  Who wants icky gross paper, stuck in the kitchen.  I found the contact paper at walmart for $5. I Knew it would work.  Next, I cut about 500+ circles on my cricut.  I figured it took about 3hrs, total to put up all the dots.  I decided to spray the electrical covers teal blue.  It was to much with everything white.  My kitchen is so fun now,  No more dark boring blah!!!  I really wanted a custom back splash and Granite.  Maybe in the next few years.  I do love the $5 transformation.  The best part is, at anytime I can pull the dots off.

Old jeans to skirts

My cute friend Mio came to craft.  We made her 2 skirts, from old jeans.  One skirt had an old skirt attached to the bottom.  The black lace was an old curtian.  They turned out darling.

Strange Bird

My grandma, has had this picture hanging in her home. I have always loved it!!! I knew it was the missing part to complete my front room makeover. I knew how special, this picture was to my grandma. It belonged to my great grandma, a friend had drawn it for her. It hung in their home, while my grandmother was growing up. My husband suprised me! he asked my grandma, if he could take a picture and make a print for me. I know the picture is a little risk-a. I love it, and It proudly hangs in my front room. It was the missing link. It has brought the whole room together.
