Navy Lamp

I decided to start out slow.  I picked one of the brass lamps to revamp.  It was quick and easy.  A good wipe down and a can of Navy paint.  This will in my guest bedroom.  It matches the bedding;)  I  am waiting to paint the other lamp.  I still need to decide on colors for my family room.  Any suggestions???  I am thinking maybe greens or gray and red.  What do you think?  1 down 11 more to go!!!

Shopping bag Bibs

I have had several friends having babies.  This is a favorite of mine to make and give.  I use the reusable shopping bags.  They wipe down easy and don't fray on the edges.  I add a pocket and a little bling.

"Garage sale Glam" Lazy Susan

If you know me at all.  I am an avid garage sale girl.  90 percent of my decor and clothing, comes from garage sale's.  I found this lazy susan new in the box.  That's right $4.  Then went to lowes, and found this gallon of paint in the mis-tints for $5.  Found out at check out it had a $5 rebate. So it was actually FREE.  Stay tuned for more of my constant kitchen makeover.

Re-vamping old pilliows

My good friend Miss Avry, has had these old pillows.  She purchased them, at a garage sale a year ago.  She  has been wanting to, redo her family room.  I stole them, and re-recovered them.  I also stenciled another pillow to go with them.

Pinterest Board frames

I saw this idea on Pinterest.  Take a board, stencil it, add paper or fabric.  Get an old frame and glue on top!  I did add some foam tape, on 3 sides of the back of my frames.  This gives it a nice gap.  The pictures slide in and out of the top.

I'm back "Happy Valentines Home"

I love garlands!  This year, I made the Hearts and black board garland.  It is in my front room.
I also made a garland, from a deck of cards.  I used all the hearts cards, and the back side of the cards.  I also cut tons!!!  of different hearts on the circut.  I sewed them together, for more garlands.
My Friend Avry and I.  have been picking a large project for each holiday.  We just finished, this 6ft valentine subway art board.  It looks great in my entry!
Sweet Miss Avry, made me this heart wreath!

Here is what my mantel looks like this year.  I made the xo and heart, coffee filter, and fabric tied garlands all this year also.  I am in love with garlands.
