How to make a buffet/entry table from a coffee table

I purchased this coffee table thinking it would make a nice bench seat.  I sewed a cushion (from earlier post)  which ended up being to small:(.  Then I liked the idea of making it a tall buffet/entry table.
So, I bought this table (which the top became my giant chalk board) and robbed the legs off of it.  But, my buffet/ entry table was still too short!
I ended up adding an additional 15 inches using 4 by 4 posts to the legs.
She now stands 36 inches tall
I painted her a pumpkin orange!
Soon the lamp and vases will get a makeover too!

Bench Cushion and Fall Owl porch

I made this cushion a while back.  I had it in mind for another project.  It didn't work out.  I just discovered that it fits my little bench perfectly!  Here is a peek at my fall owl porch.

I made this cute guy to hang on my door.  The sun takes a toll on all my decor.  I can't bring myself to hang him out there!

Yard post

My BFF and I really wanted to make these Dead & Breakfast yard signs.  She is all about the wood crafting, so I put her to work on it.

Her Husband made us these wood yard post's.  She had the great idea of planting them in the yard and making signs to change for each holiday.
This is our first sign for fall.  Next is Dead & Breakfast!

Giant chalk board

 Remember this cute coffee table?
Well, I had plans for the legs on another project.  How could I throw away the table top!
A little chalkboard spray paint and take off the base of the table.
Then a little white paint around the frame
There you have it a giant chalk board from a $5 coffee table
